Guilan architecture uses local and unique materials in construction due to the diversity of the region's climate and the influence of different cultures and ethnicities. One of the most important materials used in Guilan's buildings is wood. Wood is used in building structures, facades, windows, doors and interior coverings. In the upcoming design, the vertical wooden beams in the middle part of the building, in addition to controlling the light and visibility in the administrative part of the building, are reminiscent of the semi-open space of "Talar" in the native architecture of the region. The vertical timbers were opened in two stages in order to introduce the native color of the region to the facade and to create openings in the official section towards the city. This texture was eventually extended to the side facades and became the main identity of the building.
